Pen & Ink
One of my favorite art mediums is pen and ink. The texture and contrast of pen and ink was something I have been drawn to ever since I was young. I paid attention to the black and white illustrations in the books I read and loved many of the etchings and woodcuts that had a similar style. As I sketched more and more I found myself drawn more to pen and ink than pencil and often default to using pen and ink in my own urban sketching and art projects. |

Pen & Ink Buildings / Landscapes
In 2017, I began drawing a series of pen and ink works to commemorate places which have special meaning to people, whether it be a childhood home, a residence hall, or a business. These highly detailed drawings take a long time to render in pen and ink, but have garnered a lot of attention for their fine detail. Up until now they have only been available for family members, or to support various causes, but I am open to future projects.
